Enclosure

As  contemplative nuns, we live in enclosure.  This gives us the space necessary for our life of prayer, providing us, as much as possible, with freedom from distraction. Here we live out the charism of prayer which forms us in our lifelong dedication to God.  Enclosure helps us to keep our focus on Christ, whom we meet in solitude, silence, and community.   In this way we are better able to remain attentive to God, holding ourselves and the whole world in his presence.  We stay informed on current events, and maintain regular contact with our families.
